What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store. It lets a site remember something between page loads — a preference, a session, or that a visitor has been seen before. Similar technologies such as local storage work in comparable ways and are covered by this policy.

Cookies Topin.pk sets

Topin.pk is built to work without tracking you. The site requires no account, and reading any article sets no cookie from us. Where a strictly necessary cookie is used — for example to keep a form submission secure — it is essential to the functioning of the page and cannot be switched off without breaking it.

Third-party cookies

Topin.pk does not currently use any third-party services that set cookies. No analytics, advertising or embedded media cookies are placed on your device. If this changes in the future, this policy will be updated to list each service, its purpose and a link to its own cookie notice.

Categories we would use

If cookie-setting services are added in future, they will fall into these categories:

  • Strictly necessary — required for the site to function, such as security and form handling.
  • Analytics — aggregate measurement of which pages are read, to help us decide what to research next.
  • Advertising — set by ad networks to control ad delivery and frequency.

How to control cookies

You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings. Every major browser — Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge — provides controls under its privacy or site-settings section, including options to block third-party cookies entirely. Blocking cookies will not stop you reading anything on Topin.pk.

Do Not Track

There is no agreed industry standard for responding to browser "Do Not Track" signals. We do not track visitors across other websites, so there is no cross-site tracking for such a signal to disable.

Changes to this policy

If we add a service that sets cookies, this page is updated before or at the time that service goes live, and the last-updated date changes. See also our privacy policy.
